The Twins' Nursery

 The best part about planning for the twins to come was definitely their room.
ONE ROOM.
TWO BABIES.

BLUE & PINK WALLS
For Preston Jr.'s wall we used a powder blue, navy blue (INK), & white from Home Depot.
Preston Sr. got the paint for Press Jr. so I have no idea what the colors are & neither does he--LOL!
ADDED WHITE STRIPES

We did light/pastel colors at the base.
I found a really pretty pastel pink called "Pink Elephant"
Co-incidentally my close friend Janelle bought Peyton a pink elephant.
Now, how cute is that?




 Quick Tips For Online Shoppers:

1. Read ALL the spec's before buying.
(I could've gotten the standard size for $13 less)

2. Buy the proper mattress size.
(The standard & mini mattresses are the same price)

3. MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE! It's FREE.
Although it seems tedious-- it's a must.
The dream nursery has to be planned & precise.
Trust me, you'll be pissed when things don't fit bc you missed this step.
It's free, bruh.

4. Shop around.
Babies Are Us was always more expensive than Walmart --for the SAME product.
Before buying any baby items, search Buy Buy Baby, Amazon, Babies R Us, Walmart, & Target.

My mom bought me the coolest baby monitor that I had to rave about!



-Alerts you when temp is too high or low (based on your settings)
-Alerts you when baby cries

-Has intercom technology & acts as a walkie talkie
-Allows you to connect additional video devices
-Has a big screen & mount attachments

Pregnancy Post 001

TWO BABIES?! Yes, God has such a peculiar sense of humor.  Most women get a faint positive line when taking an early pregnancy test. My line was very dark, which indicated a high level of hormones. Should've been the first hint, huh?... I took the test about 3 days after I missed my period. I had already started to have SEVERE morning sickness. I couldn't keep anything down except plums & water. Lost close to 20lbs.. Morning sickness that did not end. Nausea, dizziness, vomiting, & fatigue--from the time I'd wake up, until I'd go to sleep. Ugggggh! I was prescribed Zofran (which is used to prevent nausea due to chemo & radiation) I took it once in the hospital intravenously & it worked instantly. But after further research, I found reports of birth defects caused by this medicine. --NEVER FILLED THE PRESCRIPTION.-- Had to just thug it out bc that wasn't a risk I was willing to take. Pregnant With Twins

So, if you keep up with me on social media (fb/twitter) you know that I'm expecting... TWINS!!! && yes, I announced this before Beyoncé, LOL! Here are some pics from a last minute maternity shoot; Yes, I'm on the beach in January. #CoquinaBeachFL :-) Most know that twins are FULL TERM @ 36 weeks My 36 week date is FEBRUARY 17, 2017   But my Dr. believes because of my height (more space for the babies) that I can easily make it to 38 WEEKS. I just want my body back!!! This pregnancy has been the most stressful time of my life--including the day I found out there were TWO of dem babies--LOL.
